What The Plant Firm taught us
The Plant Firm started with a simple frustration: buying good plants shouldn’t mean overpaying for picked-over stock. It became a Raleigh-grown, delivery-only nursery working from a family farm just outside the city, and it grew into landscape consultations, design, and installation.
When you spend your days on landscapes, you notice everything around them: gutters spilling onto freshly planted beds, siding that needs a wash, a fence that needs fixing, water pooling where the lawn should be. A beautiful yard depends on the whole outside of the house working together.
Why Pine State
Exterior work is mostly scheduling, honesty, and follow-through—and a lot of homeowners have stories about all three going wrong. We think the trades deserve more pride than that, and homeowners deserve more clarity.
So we’re building Pine State the old-fashioned way where it counts—careful work, real people, clean job sites—and the modern way where it helps: estimates you can start from your phone, scopes you can read, and updates you don’t have to chase.
Where we are today
Pine State Exteriors opens in Spring 2027 across Greater Raleigh—Raleigh, Cary, Apex, Wake Forest, Garner, Holly Springs, and Fuquay-Varina. We’re putting our crews, equipment, and processes together now, and we’d rather launch carefully than promise more than we can deliver. If you’d like to be among our first customers, join the launch list or describe your project.
