This notice explains what information Pine State Exteriors (“we”) collects through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

Project details you enter in the estimator, such as the services you need, your ZIP code, measurements, and answers to project questions.
Photos you choose to upload. Your browser resizes photos before sending them, and our servers remove embedded metadata such as GPS location and camera details before storing them.
Contact details—name, email, phone, and street address—only when you save an estimate, ask us to follow up, join the launch list, or send a message.
Basic usage events, such as “estimate started” or “photo uploaded,” recorded without your name, contact details, address, photos, or IP address.

How we use it

To prepare your estimate, review your project, and contact you about it.
To send launch news if you join the launch list.
To send seasonal tips or offers only if you separately opt in. Agreeing to be contacted about your project does not sign you up for marketing.
To keep the site secure and prevent abuse, using Cloudflare Turnstile and rate limits.
To compare our estimates with completed work so our pricing stays accurate.

Automated photo review

If you agree when uploading, your photos and project answers may be sent to an artificial-intelligence service provider (currently planned: Anthropic) to check whether photos are clear, identify visible surfaces and conditions, and suggest follow-up questions for our team. This automated review never sets your price, approves a quote, or makes decisions about you on its own—a person and our fixed pricing rules do that. If you decline, your photos are reviewed only by our team. [Owner: confirm provider, data-processing terms, and retention settings before enabling.]

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the business—website hosting and storage (Cloudflare), transactional email, and, if you agree, automated photo review—under terms that limit their use of your data.

How long we keep it

Unfinished estimates are deleted automatically after about 30 days. Submitted projects and their photos are kept for about two years so we can stand behind our work, then deleted. You can ask us to delete your information sooner. [Owner: confirm retention periods.]

Your private estimate link

Saved estimates are available through a private link that expires. Anyone with the link can view the estimate, so please don’t share it publicly. Private estimate pages are never indexed by search engines.

Your choices

Ask for a copy of your information, a correction, or deletion.
Unsubscribe from marketing at any time.
Use the estimator without automated photo review.
