Exterior home care in Raleigh.

From older homes inside the Beltline to newer neighborhoods out toward the county line.

Raleigh is our home base. The city’s range of homes—early-1900s bungalows and four-squares in its older neighborhoods, mid-century ranches, and the brick and vinyl two-stories of the last few decades—means exterior care here is rarely one-size-fits-all.

Homes in Raleigh

Older homes near downtown often have wood siding and trim, original porches, and mature oaks overhead. Neighborhoods built from the 1980s on tend toward vinyl or fiber-cement siding, larger lawns, and planting beds that were installed once and left to grow.

What we expect to see

Common exterior needs in Raleigh

  • Gutters

    Big trees, busy gutters

Raleigh’s tree canopy is part of its charm—and why gutters here fill with leaves, pine needles, and spring pollen faster than you might expect.

    Gutter Cleaning, Repair & Installation
  • Drainage

    Red clay and summer storms

Piedmont clay sheds water instead of soaking it up. Heavy afternoon storms can send runoff toward foundations, especially on lots that slope toward the house.

    Drainage Solutions
  • Painting

Older wood that needs real prep

Original wood siding and trim reward careful scraping, priming, and repair. Homes built before 1978 may need lead-safe prep, which we plan for up front.

Good to know in Raleigh

  • Some older neighborhoods are historic districts, where exterior changes like new fences or paint colors may need approval first. We’ll ask before we quote.
  • Pollen season usually arrives in early spring and coats everything in yellow. It’s a good time to plan a house wash for after it settles.

Questions

Raleigh questions

Do you work inside the Beltline?

Yes. Smaller lots, narrow side yards, and street parking are common there, and we plan access and parking before the visit.

My Raleigh home is in a historic district. Can you still help?

Yes. Washing, gutter work, and landscaping rarely need approval. For paint colors or new fences, check with the district first—we’re happy to share the details you’ll need.
